She studied Ayurvedic and Tibetan herbal medicine in India, as well as Native American healing practices in North America.
She learned Taoist philosophy and the art of connecting with nature in a healing way from her teacher, the Taoist Gia Fu Feng.
She also has extensive experience with the path of wise women.
Currently, she primarily teaches at the school she founded for herbal medicine, Gaiamancy, permaculture, and wilderness knowledge. She shares her extensive experience and comprehensive, wide-ranging knowledge in seminars, lectures, and workshops both in Germany and abroad. To date, she has published 16 books, which have been translated into many languages. She combines traditional indigenous wisdom with the awareness and challenges of the current crisis.
Numerous radio and television appearances have made her known to a wide audience.
Susanne Fischer-Rizzi sees herself as a student of nature, a mediator between humanity and the wild. Through her work, she aims to help re-establish the severed bond between humans, animals, and plants, thereby promoting healing for both ourselves and nature. She is the mother of a son and lives on Lake Constance.
